Rima Eid

Rima Eid works in the US Forest Service, International Programs Office, located in Washington DC. Her focus is organizational development and international program management. Rima brings together US Department of Agriculture experts with international researchers across the globe in efforts to address agriculture, forestry and food security issues. She also served on the Seminar Committee for all the International Seminars hosted by International Programs, focusing on the design and training components of the various seminar programs. She also designs and facilitates workshops around performance, team building, monitoring and evaluation. Prior to her years with the US Forest Service, she served as an international scholar advisor to Georgetown University and developed programs in the NGO sector. Rima holds a MA and BA, magna cum laude, in Psychology from Marymount University and a Graduate Certification in Instructional Design and Learning Analytics from American University.

Susan Stine

Susan is a Program Specialist with the US Forest Service office of International Programs, on the Latin America and Caribbean team.  She manages US Forest Service programs in Belize, Guatemala, Jamaica, and Panama, as well as, managing several regional events of the Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR). Program topics for these countries range from seed bank best practices to wildfire firefighter training courses. Her background is in international development with a focus on education. Prior to working for International Programs, Susan was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic and supported NGOs at the Inter-American Foundation. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from American University and her Master’s Degree in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.  Susan speaks Spanish fluently and in her free time she enjoys knitting and playing with her cat and dog.

Marty Wester

Marty is a Program Specialist with the U.S. Forest Service, International Programs on the Operations staff. His background is a mixture of wildlife biology and grants administration. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Sciences from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Marymount University. Marty has worked with the U.S. Forest Service for 10 years in Washington, DC and in northern Colorado. He currently manages the International Programs Debit Card Program and assists in the administration of a number of staff contracts. In his spare time, Marty loves to spend time outdoors birding, hiking, camping and running.
